I’m Anna and it’s simple really – I love to cook, I love to bake and I love to eat. My husband on the other hand just loves to eat and help out wherever he can. This blog is for those people who are grinding from 9-5 during the week and looking for helpful cooking options that are nommy (tasty) and not too time extensive.
My meals range from hella pinoy to hella good. Being Filipino, cooking for others is something I was born to do…although it’s easy to do when I enjoy the food as much as my counterparts. To me, cooking is an escape from work life and provides me with an avenue to create, recreate, and expand on delicious recipes.
I post just about any of my creations on IG (@swanninthekitchen), but sometimes I do not have the time to expand on my recipes used. This blog is about me taking a step away from my plate and providing insight on how to provide a wide variety of nommy dishes during the week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meal prep is a must for the Swann household and will certainly be featured. But then again, there are some nights where you just want to go all out and really highlight some of the ingredients in your kitchen. I’ve got you covered as well.
